This was a fun removal from my usual projects, but still put me through my paces all the same.
The coat is made of mint green moire with an orange and pink satin taffeta contrast, lined in sherbet orange satin and trimmed in white lipped cording. There is an applique of a bird in yellow and blue satin, embellished with an eye of Swarovski crystal.
The dress and umbrella is made of off-white cotton home decor satin with a pink underweave. There are 212 satin flowers, stems, and leaves each individually applqued to the dress and umbrella. The dress and umbrella also have a trim of variegated orange charmeuse and off-white lace.
Suitcase is painted and embellished with rayon cording, fabric, and ribbon.
The bottle is built on a glass soap bottle, with added plexiglass wings and a bird which I sculpted out of clay and handpainted.
Ioryogi-san is patterned by myself (based off the pattern from a Keroberos plush I made about a year previously). He is made of blue suede, and wears a tiny bought spiked dog collar.
