 Alternatively titled: "The Kiss That Almost Happened But Then It Didn't." Because it actually doesn't. Another of Jerised and Arlarch, in one of the most triumphant scenes of the novel, for reasons I won't bother to explain here because it would take way too long. The fact that there is a bed is not an implication of anything, by the way. So don't bother thinking it is. So I'm curious as to why, after I tell myself again and again that I hate cloth folds and they take me way to long, do I willingly undergo a project that consists of almost nothing but cloth folds? WHY??? I had fun embroiderizing it though  Watercolor and Photoshop, 8½×11" EDIT 3/22/2007: Due to the fact that the large file for this got mysteriously corrupted, I have had to recolor this painting. I chose a slightly bluer light this time, and I think I like it better, as well as giving a bit more detail to some of the embroidery. No one need compare the new version to the old version; there's nothing I can do for the old version. |
